Model Based Systems Engineering
Siemens model-based development (MBD) tools drive fast development for smarter connected systems. Siemens Simcenter customers simulate complex products as systems-of-systems throughout the entire development cycle--from early concept design through detailed design to hardware-in-the-loop testing (HIL). Combine mechanical models with electrical models (in 0D, 1D, and/or 3D) for multi-disciplinary simulation and leverage workflows supported by the Simcenter portfolio for controls, thermal, fluids, and embedded integration.

Simcenter AMESIM
The Simcenter Amesim portfolio brings together multi-physics system simulation for automotive, aerospace, industrial, and energy applications--from fluid and thermal networks to electrification, mechanics, and controls. Dedicated libraries and templates accelerate modeling, while interoperability with the broader Simcenter and Xcelerator ecosystem helps teams anchor simulation in a consistent product digital thread.

Multi-disciplinary System Simulation: Simcenter Amesim
Siemens Simcenter Amesim rapidly models multi-disciplinary systems as 1D models. By simulating the performance of an entire product, customers can understand overall behavior earlier and recognize key interactions between components and subsystems. Simcenter Amesim allows mixed signal-based and physical modeling including pre-defined libraries for mechanical, electrical, and thermal components. The powerful built-in functionality is extended by open standards such as Modelica and FMU to couple 1D and 3D models.

Embedded Systems: Simcenter Amesim & Controls Workflow
Siemens Simcenter supports model-based development for embedded and control-dominated systems--including motor control, IoT-oriented architectures, and multi-domain mechatronics. Using Simcenter Amesim together with block-diagram and physical modeling, teams can design, analyze, and simulate system behavior, then validate against hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups and embedded targets as part of a connected simulation and test strategy spanning design and verification.
